Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of CineConvert, operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME]("we", "us"). By creating an account you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

The service

CineConvert hosts videos, adds interactive calls to action to them, publishes them on short links and bio pages, and reports on how viewers engage. We may change or add features over time. If we remove something you rely on materially, we will give notice by email.

Your account

• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.
• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live.
• One person or entity per account, unless you are on a plan that explicitly includes multiple workspaces or sub accounts.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload. You grant us the licence needed to host, transcode, store and deliver it, which is what makes the service function. That licence ends when you delete the content or close your account.

You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload. You agree not to use CineConvert to:

• Publish content you do not have the rights to, including music and footage licensed to someone else.
• Publish unlawful, deceptive, harassing or infringing material.
• Collect personal information from viewers without a lawful basis and appropriate disclosure.
• Attempt to breach, overload or reverse engineer the service, or circumvent plan limits.

We may remove content or suspend an account that violates these terms. Where practical we will tell you why and give you a chance to correct it first.

Viewer data

Leads and engagement data captured through your videos belong to you. We process that data on your behalf as described in our Privacy Policy. You are the controller of it, which means you are responsible for giving your viewers whatever notice and choices the law where they live requires, including in relation to the visitor recognition cookie described in that policy.

Plans, billing and cancellation

• Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled.
• You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and your account remains active until then.
• Fees are non refundable except where required by law or where we state otherwise: [REFUND POLICY, for example a 14 day first purchase refund].
• We may change pricing with at least 30 days notice by email. The new price applies from your next billing period.
• If a payment fails we may suspend the account after a reasonable retry period. Content is retained during suspension for [GRACE PERIOD] before deletion.

Availability

We work to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted operation, and we do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee on [PLANS WITHOUT AN SLA]. Planned maintenance that requires downtime will be announced in advance where possible.

Warranties and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost data.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for a material breach of these terms, or if required by law. On termination we delete your content in line with the retention period in our Privacy Policy. Export your data before closing your account.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [STATE OR COUNTRY], and the courts of[JURISDICTION] have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
